I disagree with ahe's comments about risk free play. I'm sorry the blackjack game was downgraded, and I'd be interested to know the reasoning. We're talking fractions of a percent - was it worth turning that unique game into just another nondescript online also-ran for so little?
Actually, I had your case in mind, when I asked my little question of Vahe before I left for the weekend. Now I'm back and see it created quite a dscussion which is what I hoped for. Knowing individual cases can always be reviewed by top management goes along way with me.
I'm glad your account was re-instated as it seemed to me you are the type of player that would not fall under most "bonus-abuser" guidelines. (Maybe the "compulsive gambler" guidelines - LOL).
Why it wasn't looked at when it happened perhaps represents a failure on the part of CON. Given the reluctance that Vahe says CON has in closing an account, why now do they change their mind? I'm glad they did but why wasn't the same review undertaken at the time? I suppose it's a numbers game.
If you can elaborate on how or in what way your play was deemed risk-free in the first place, it might be illuminating. If not, I understand.
I've always thought that casinos should take bet range into consideration along with WR's. It's one thing to just exceed WR's with $1 bets, it's another thing to just exceed them with $300 bets.
As far as downgrading the BJ game goes, I'm sure you of all people underestand the significance of a couple tenths of a %. It certainly would add up on $1MM of BJ action every month. It's still better than RTG and Crypto, on a par with MG 2-deck. Definitely not as much "fun" as it used to be. I wonder if their action dropped in any measurable way after the change - I doubt it. Most people aren't that sophisticated, I suspect. Think 6-5 SD BJ in Vegas - tables are jammed.
Well, off to make a deposit with my own money, in accordance with the "new, now written" guidelines.
