That is exactly why Blackjack Switch can be offered at a lower house edge, you are 100% correct.

There will be those who study the 'Switch' strategy in order to benefit from a reduced house edge but this will be far outweighed by those players who just want to gamble (or who think that they can 'switch' correctly by intuition).
