Here is a strategy to make money off a sticky bonus. Play normally until you meet the WR. Cash out everything but the bonus. Now set a goal and play aggressively (bet big) until you meet that goal or go bust trying. If you reach your goal, cash out, and repeat until you go bust. With this strategy, the expected gain from the sticky bonus is almost as much as the bonus itself.

There is another kind of bonus, called "phantom" bonus by the Wizard. This cannot be cashed out either, but it is removed from your account if you cash out. In this case you need to set a high win goal and go for it aggressively.

Let's say you deposit $100 and get $100 "phantom" bonus. Now you have $200. If you set a goal of $400, you have 50% chance of reaching it before going bust, ignoring the house edge. If you reach this goal, you can cash out $300, the expected alue of your cash-out is $150, so the expected alue of the bonus is $50. If you set a goal of $1000, then you only have 20% chance of reaching it, but if you reach it you can cash out $900. In this case the expected alue of the bonus is $80.
