So Colly, you still get spam from Casino Prophet on behalf of Fortune Lounge?

I also get marketing mailings from Fortune Lounge casinos. I have no problem with that; I opted in. They are correctly targeted to me as a customer. I also get newsletter from arious webmasters that I opted in for, and to continue to receive those, my spam filters aren't set to shut out all casinos.

Sure, Fortune Lounge's own casino staff ery likely does honor unsubscribe requests, and does rein in some affiliates. That's why this continued support for hired spammer Casino Prophet is so infuriating, because Fortune Lounge appears to want it both ways: the marketing benefit of spamming, the pr benefit of condemning spam.

It sure looks like they will hire a "publisher" to spam while limiting the activites of affiliates.

They also seem to be quite confused about how to present a coherent response to complaining players, including the ery basic provision of establishing a contact email address that allows complaints to be sent. Apparently, players are now supposed to go to Casinomeister's site and send a private message to the rep there to be removed from Casino Prophet's list.

Frankly, after the tone taken with me to date, I'm reluctant to do that. I tried doing it Fortune Lounge's way: I used the "unsubscribe" links in the mail itself (it merely multiplied); I emailed the representative many times; I let the representative know that the email wasn't getting through and continued to email after being told the address would work ia the board; I have yet to see any sense of accountability for their responsibility for their communication problems.

Since I haven't had a credible response to date, I'm now reluctant to let their hired spammer know my real email address. Obviously, having a functioning "unsubscribe" link in the spams wasn't important enough for the spammer to implement without prodding; obviously Fortune Lounge has insufficient oversight over this spammer to compel ethical behavior. I'd be an idiot to supply my email address at this point, because I'm pretty sure I'm not on Casino Prophet's "Favorite People" List.
