Popular / best in terms of what, is down to personal opinion based on what each person is looking for in their online casinos.
For me that is fair play & good bonuses

Therefore for me undoubtedly Intercasino is rightly held as the No.1 casino on the net today. Their extremely generous monthly match is better than anything else around.
William Hills is close second due to fair play & good WR terms on their monthly.
32Red has a great reputation for fair play & customer service, but their bonuses are ery tight now - so I don't play there often.
The last but not least of my top 4 (as per my website) is Ladbrokes; Fair, great CS, good promos (no monthly ), instant withdrawals. This is now the only casino where I actually play without using bonus funds!

888 might have the biggest number of registered players and have been investing VAST amounts of cash in advertising (sponsoring loads of big sporting events on UK TV), but they seem to have lost the plot in marketing & CS.
There are several bad threads running about them on the boards and they are rapidly getting rogued by the watchdogs. Apart from that, their ongoing player promotions after the SUB are crap, so no big loss for most of us.
