I'll tell you what I think about HardRock...
From Hero to Zero with a simple change of software!
I joined Hard Rock (then WagerWorks) in June'05, and although I did take their monthly bonuses, by no-ones possible definition did I 'abuse' them! I played all different games including slots, roulette, casino poker etc. I never played just to WR & withdrew, but carried on after bonus qualification (sometime losing big time), and I even deposited and played without a bonus! I really liked their casino & software, and in fact, played more at Hardrock without bonus money than at any other casino in the same period.
I did make profit from June - Dec, but that was due to luck (or skill!) not any systematic use of bonuses.
Their CS was always great & responded within hours, and cashouts were really fast.
Then in March'06 they downgraded to Playtech software.
They offered all new AND existing players a 100% to £50 bonus, which I took in mid-March. I met the WR, but it was not nice & I lost £40 of the bonus, making just £10 profit from it.
Early April, with my funds still not withdrawn yet, I get a standard generic e-mail:-
"After a review of your account, you are not getting any more bonuses. You are still free to deposit & lose your own money" (or words to that effect! )
No explanation.
I knew 100% that I had not broken any of their T&C's, so I e-mailed twice in 3-days, asking why they had taken this action - no response (that was weeks ago).
So it seems they also lost their CS when they gave up the WW software.
The only reason I can see for their action is that I had the audacity to actually win instead of lose.
Not quite worthy of roguedom, but this is hardly the (non) response you expect from a 'reputable' casino...
