I agree with you Bacchus, that my wife's emails certainly did not help matters any. Usually I do use a separate email account, however this time, I went with one of our shared ones (perhaps it was because our anniversary occurred that week!)

In any event, here's what's really disturbing about the infamous Crystal Palace gaming group:

According to many eteran online gamblers, once I had amassed over $20,000 in winnings with them, there was probably a LOT of pressure put on the casino manager to find a way to deny me those winnings - whether it was referring to "nasty" emails, abuse of coupons, allegations of improper play...whatever....as long as they could fall back on SOMETHING to oid the large amount of $$ owed the player.

The emails proved the most "convenienent" as I didn't use any coupons, had other accounts with them over a 4 year period whereby they rec'd my deposits w/o incident, and certainly with Video Poker, didn't have a "system" that could be construed as a mechanical aid. So there weren't many options Crystal Palace had at their disposal to refer back to their T & C's in order to lock the account.

The interesting thing though, is while they do have the right to "lock an account" according to their discretion for any reason, they claim in their terms section, that they will withhold WINNINGS ONLY if any of 10-14 terms are iolated. If you go online to their site, you'll see the complete list, but as I told the bigwigs at Crystal Palace, I can't see where ANY of the terms relative to WITHHOLDING WINNINGS were iolated by me in this instance ! Yes, they can lock me out on a whim - that's their perogative,,,,but paying out $$$ - well, please let me know if you think they have a LEGAL leg to stand on if these T&C's were ever reviewed by an impartial jury.

Of course, that's the challenge, as Cloud and his cronies have been taking advantage of online gamblers for years. I may not ultimately prevail here either, but I won't go quietly!
