I wholeheartedly agree with Rob. I don't have strong feelings about it, but there's no ethical dilemma here - you've broken an agreement between you and the guy who bought your account. The fact that you earlier broke an agreement between you and the game administrators (or whatever) that you wouldn't sell the account doesn't make this okay.

And finally the fact that what you did wasn't "allowed" and therefore "shouldn't count" doesn't matter, ethically, either. It matters practically, because they will always consider the account yours, but ethically it's a no-brainer.

The proper solution would be to try to get in touch with the guy and offer to refund him, I guess.
