You start from the highest card in the low and work down (in other words it's the exact opposite of what you think ), the player with the first card that is lower then his opponent takes the low pot.
Example:
Player A has A2467
Player B has A3458
Reversed gives,
Player A has 7642A
Player B has 8543A
Player A wins, as 7 is lower than Player B's 8
Another one:
Player A has A3467
Player B has A2567
Reversed gives
Player A has 7643A
Player B has 7652A
Both players have 7, so take the next card down, both players have 6 too, so take the next. Player A wins as his 4 is lower than Player B's 5.
