Hi All,
I would say Jacks are pretty tricky..people seem to be drawn to them and still continue to call on the board even when there is say an A,K or Q up there..i was playing 20/40 on paradise and i was sitting out this hand and there was something like $1200 in the pot and it went to a showdown and the loser showed pocket jacks whilst the winner had A 10 and A hit on the flop..but the other guy was like capping every bet...

I have to agree with buff on deuces,i like them..as long as its not too expensive to see the flop i'll happily play them in the chance of hitting the 7/1 trips..if you can make hay when you do at avg. odds of 7/1 hitting they are well worth playing. I don't agree with trial due to the fact he's missing a rather big point..if a 2 hits the flop you've got trips and say the oppenent has A 7 (bad hand in my opinion) and the flop is 10 7 2.. turn is another 7 as trial stated. they have made trips but you've made full house (2's full). And as for debrie...wow! you'd prefer suited connectors over pairs? hand over your money! Every pair is marginal or big fave or suited connectors..even deuces against AK is (i think from memory,i'll check later) 50.5% fave pre flop...so even say pair of 8's against 6,7 7,8 suited is a big fave over connectors. But everyone has their own style but i'm pretty sure almost every pro will say they'll rather have a pair then connecting cards.
