KK s JJ 4.5:1 favourite
AA s 88 4.5:1 favourite
KJ s J6 3:1 favourite
AT s T3 3:1 favourite
Considering that at best, you're only going to win with big pair s a smaller pair roughly 4 out of 5 times, this really isn't that bad of a run. People (including me; easier said than done, right ) really need to realize just how common it is to lose a race, even if you are 'dominating' illain's hand. For ex., AA s AKs is roughly a 7:1 favourite. Dominating, but consider that AK will still win 1 out of 8 times, and you realize that AA really isn't as much of a monster as some people think.
I dunno; i'm just ranting (again) but although I'd be pretty pissed with a run like that aswell, Effexor, I think that people have to really step back and realize that hands that they think are 'monsters' really aren't that big. On top of that, but after the flop those odds can drop considerably should your opponent hit his hand. Realizing that would help tremendously with the tilt that goes along with losing with one of those 'monsters', and should help you improve one's game.
