Topic: Strongest card in a deck Forum: Card Chat

In poker, suits don't matter during game play, so any ace is as strong as any other ace.

The only time it would make a difference is when high carding for the button before a tournament. In the case of a tie, suits are used as a tiebreaker in the order of spades, hearts, diamonds and clubs -- so in that case you'd be correct that the ace of spades is strongest.
