Probably not. Except for the dinner break. Don't waste your breaks phoning your friends to update them on your progress either. Take the breaks for yourself, they are important. I learned that the hard way at last year's WSOP.
How early do I need to arrive at the start of a tourney?
For an event like this, you can probably register the day before if you want. If you are going to wait until the day of the tourney, I would go an hour and a half before the start time. Most likely you wouldn't get to sit at the table until 15 minutes before the start anyway.
Eat before, during or after the tourney?
DEFINITELY eat before you play. Even if it's just a muffin or something. Maybe get a drink (soda or water) during play, during the breaks. And then grab a bite to eat during the dinner break.
Single table satellites, soft or tuff?
I find them to be tougher live, but my only experience with them is in AC. So I don't know if Indiana's competition is going to be tougher or not.
Good luck, keep us posted on how you make out.
