I'm sure we all have got that chipvault email- join betzip players club.

I've been playing there since last October, became a paying member mid December. Won a $75 dollar tourney for $50 in November. Another $10 in December. Since January I've won a tourney for $100 and some smaller prizes =$85..+185 so far this year.
This site has a different format. Monthly membership fee and free entry to cash tourneys. Daily schedule 1pm $100 pays 1 spot 3pm $150 pays 4 spots 5pm & 7 pm $250 pays six spots 830pm $500 pays 16 spots- first is 200 10pm $1000 pays 28 spots- 300 for first. 1130pm $250 pays 6 spots. In addition to cash you collect tourney points. You use your tourney points to enter Saturday Qualifiers to reach the main event $5000 pays 90 spots ( only 500 entries) and once a month it is $20,000 paying 205 spots (500 entries) !st place in the 5000 pays 1k, 5k for the $20,000. Most of the prizes are only $10 though..
In the beginning they had a lot of software issues. Disconnects were common. Also if you don't act autofolds hand, even in checking situations. (Don't like that)
The software is free and easy to download. It is also easy to use and has a nice player homepage listing point totals and player rating. You can join for free at first, for two weeks. If you win any money they send you an email to sign and send in. You also include a picture ID, check comes in two weeks.
so those are the pro's of the site.
Now for the cons. They have done so much advertizing, the cash tourneys are becoming hard to get into. Tonight I tried to join the $1000, and it was full 2 minutes into reg. Customer service has assured me that they are going to offer additional tourneys, and raise the entrie number which is now 1000 players.
The biggest problem with this site is the weekend tourneys. The qualifiers don't usually fill up which tells me that this site is full of new players who play so roughshod they are unable to acquire the needed tourney points. The ones who do, sloplay and a majority of the tables fold to the big blind, manipulating the qualifier. So if your playing poker it is hard to qualify, against all the colluders. On any other site this would be illegal. Betzip has yet to address this problem, but are aware of it.
It's even worse if you get on one of these tables. You are compelled to play along, or else get berated with insults(betzip has yet to address abusive language either). They say they will make notes on you and get you later.lol. The worse part is they openly conspire in the chatbox. Say things like no all ins,,Just fold we'll all make it. And this was the majority of the tables doing this every Saturday. Open Collusion.
I am getting quite frustrated with this site and have been in communication with them alot lately. They continue to tell me that they are working on the problems but I think they get most of their earnings from advertisers, so they don't care if they have members leave. More coming every day.
For myself, I work during the cash tourney times and most weekends. Although I've made alot more than my dues, I've made more in FREErolls this year and don't get that upset if a freeroll is full. I'm going to give this a site another month to invoke the changes they keep promising me.
The payouts in this site can be substantial. I have yet to catch the golden goose. If I do however they have a disclosure that yearly earnings in excess of $600 will be reported to the IRS. Don't like that either.
