While I agree with you about Online Poker, you have to put the book in context, too. Here, in the technical astness of the future, you have to remember that when Doyle wrote that book, internet poker rooms were much fewer in number, and not nearly so well populated.

Hey, we all started somewhere, sometime. If I were just starting out playing online, and had not studied up on poker in other than a superficial, general way, there's lots of sound advice in the mix. His tips on BR management alone make it a worthwhile read for a beginner.
