If you'd have pushed a bet saying, "Allin 1600" and you only had 1500 the allin would still stand. The same holds true if you've pushed an amount greater than what you declared. Allin means allin which equals the entire amount of your stack. The dealer should have given your stack a count PRIOR to other players' bets to erify the exact amount of the allin bet. This is especially important if a player behind you goes allin for a greater amount, thus creating the possibility of a split pot. Good dealers ALWAYS physically count allins to determine the exact amount other players will have to bet for the call.
