Play tight and play smart. Maybe you're chasing too many losing hands. The first time I cleared a bonus I lost $10, but made $100 on the bonus. Another time I lost $30, while clearing $75. However, I've never lost more than the bonus.....
Since I quick chasing I've won as much as the bonus in play while also clearing the bonus. So, in essense you're doubling your winnings with no risk.
