I have been closely following this issue before the thread even began and I'm happy to say that we have sorted out this problem with Microgaming. Not that we are looking to place blame, but apparently the trouble was on their end. They have assured us that players should no longer experience difficulties logging into the casino software.

Should anybody continue to experience trouble please contact our support team support@jackpotfactory.com or myself through the private message system and we will look into it.

Thanks for your patience in this matter.

David.

While we are all relieved that a cause & solution has been found, it shows that casino support are far too willing to place the blame at the customer end, either their PC or ISP. This issue has dragged on for months, and seems to affect some other MG casinos. Every time they release a new batch of games, the casinos "go bad" for a time afterwards, even when the new games have been downloaded. This month, I have identified another problem. After the new games download, the software becomes extremely "sticky" and also jerky in play. The sticky part is that it can take up to 3 minutes or more to launch a game (usually a matter of 15 seconds), when playing, the game is ery jerky, runs much more slowly than usual, and often freezes for long periods. After around 2 hours of continuous play, the software suddenly frees up and plays normally. Sadly, only till next month. One symtom I observed was that during this stickly phase, old games in the menu suddenly flash red and reinstall quickly, while at the same time the symbol for a net connection appears by the clock. It seems this is back to the old MG problems of last year and the continuous redownloading of existing games.
The only solution I have found is to stick a game on autoplay and go away for a couple of hours. The casino only seems to complete the process while a game is in play, leaving it logged in and idle does not help.
It would be better if MG updated the updater before releasing more games, and ensured that the software really did give full priority to the game in play and halted the conflicting update procedure so that the game in play could run properly.
