True, but even the original post was remark on a players "dissapointment" ... it wasnt even a complaint.

He then got literally abused for posting it. Moron, ass, stupidest thread of 2006, etc.

Now, pina baby made the point that the "regular" posters are all of a similar mindset to such issues.

Which kind of leaves the forum in a state where only maybe 20 people can post unmolested.

I think this is not a good thing. Its already being referred to as the affiliate zone by other forums.

As for the 'slanging matches', 'name calling', etc ... well, its only the regulars who have actually done any of this ... (tennis balls just sent me a message to call me a moron for example ... which is kind of amusing I admit).

Personally, I would have thought you'd be happy to have it addressed out in the open.

By closing this thread, it just leaves the same problem hanging up there and it will resurface and disrupt another thread ... more new posters will be personally abused by the "regulars" for, esentially, not "fitting in" with their idea of how customers should think and express themselves.

May as well make it a private forum for "regulars" only with the same opinions as them.
