My opinion is that it will continue to grow for the next few years. This is soley based on the observation that more and more people I run into are dumping $100 into Party to try it because a friend of a friend did it. I haven't really thought it through, so there may be opposing forces at play....

Putting money into an online poker room seems a little risky at first, sort of like buying something from an online auction house might have seemed 6 or 7 years ago. Pretty soon everybody knew somebody who had bought something off of this Ebay website and next thing you know your mom is selling her used panties on Ebay for beer money. I am seeing a similar trend amongst casual acquaintances with poker (taking the dive, not selling panties).
