it's not the numerical size of the pot that matters, it's the minimum amount of BB's required to induce rake at EACH particular level (because Party Poker counts ANY raked hand - 25c worth the same as $1).

therefore:
$1/2 LHE - $5 pot required to rake 25c = 2.5BB
$2/4 LHE - $20 pot required to rake $1 = 5BB

the lower number of BB's required, the higher percentage of hands that will hit minimum rake counting towards the bonus. thus $1/2 on party clears faster. if $2/4 LHE on Party raked 25c for a $5 pot like Absolute does, then it would be different.
