I'm still debating whether or not get the Visa card. $35 + fees seems kinda steep but instant access to the funds would be very nice.
Overall, I'm pretty happy with them, especially given the fact that they are only major option. The checking account transfers seem to be taking between 7-10 buisness days both ways.
I actually debated getting the $35 card too, but decided it was worth it in the event they get Netellered and the only option is withdrawing from your card (as the case was for Neteller users a week or so after ETFs were frozen) for a few days. Now that I have it, I'm actually using the card a bit just for regular withdrawals. The only thing that sucks is that you'll pay $2 twice (once by ePassporte and once by the ATM), but may be worth the peace of mind to get come cash right away. BTW, the max withdrawal seems to be either $300 or $600 depending on your status level at ePassporte and the maximum the ATM allows you to withdraw. |
