I don't really play tourneys anymore but my feeling was that you could make consistent money on the SNGs. The big multi-table tourneys drove me crazy cuz you could play perfect for hours and then get wiped out just short of the money with a couple bad beats or marginal calls. But if you're a good tourney player, it can pay off. Party has their step tourney now. I think the initial buy-in is $12. If you win five rounds (three-table each, I think); you can walk away with something like 9 grand.
