Topic: 4 tables at once! Forum: Bonus Whores
Resurrecting this thread... Since many of the posts here are about games (Stud, Omaha, etc) I haven't tried yet (and don't intend to in the near future); I wanted some specific advice on how to approach learning to multitable micro/low limit hold'em games. So far, I've basically been playing $.5/1 tables at Party and $1/2 tables at a couple of Crypto sites (since that is their lowest limit available). Have only been doing one table at a time, which means bonuses take time to clear. However, I still consider myself a beginner player, and my results so far vary from loosing about half the bonus in the time it takes to clear it, to gaining about $100 clearing InterPoker's $90 deposit match (with big swings in the process). Since I am not consistently winning or breaking even, I fear that meddling with two or more tables at this point will hurt my bankroll, so what is the best approach to this - for the cautious? (I just tried playing two Party $.5/1 tables for the first time yesterday, and lost about $30 in the process. Not sure if this loss is due to multitabling, or just because I've adapted my play to the Crypto sites and been away from Party for a while.) Any limit hold'em advice on this is greatly appreciated, such as key points to keep in mind, and/or good sites (with really low micro limits, perhaps?) to practice it. Tried the play money tables at Party, but they are just silly - no real training.
