I normally three table. Haven't done less in quite a while. But I remember when I was nervous about two tabling. Then I found bonuses. Once you start seriously bonus whoring, you have to step it up. There are just entirely to many hands to be played to try it with only one or two tables going. There isn't enough time unless you want to be in front of the computer constantly, which my wife and kids wouldn't dig. Today, I four tabled for the first time at Empire. While it seemed intense initially, it settled down fairly quickly and I had little poroblem with it. While I would occasionally fold a playabe hand to concentrate on a monster elsewhere, it rarely had any real effect on my play as you rarely are involved with a hand at more than one table. A nice side effect was that I didn't have time to sit around adding up my totals worrying about how much I was up or down.
