Poker has different dialects; here's one of the ones I know:

Pineapple is like hold'em with 3 cards, one card discarded in turn before the flop. Crazy Pineapple - same, but players discard in turn after the flop. Either game can be played high only or high low, the latter usually played 8 or better. Source: me. I was a top section dealer at Commerce for 2 1/2 years. I never dealt a single hand of any version of pineapple.

Strategy - play obviously strong hands strong. get away when you miss the flop. or not. adjust if needed.

THAT is some brilliance.
