In tight games I believe there will not be enough people in the pot to make raising with ATs KQs-KJs AJ & KQ +EV.

They still advocate playing AJ just not raising with it.

I think SSHE (although not quite done with reading it yet) assumes that there are way too many loose players at low limit games- and nowhere I've foung that low limit online games contain only mega dumb players like the book suggests for the most part!

One thing's for sure, there are many of them, but I have serious troubles finding games at low limit (Party e.g.) that would be good enough to raise KQo in EP. Mostly you're being dominated by the one or two aggressive callers who have at least your knowledge and will use position and their mostly better hands against you.

Preflop it might still be correct to raise KQo in a pretty loose game, but your postflop play must not be affected by the fact that there it so much value to be found in the pot size. And honestly I have not had 12BBs in the pot by the turn card as often as SSHE gives me the impression it would be found in those games.

Can anyone understand where I'm getting at? Imo the games are still rather loose, but not as terrible as the authors suggest they'd be and those hand guidelines are really to be thought over depending on the type of game one's playing and the player type facing when being in the pot. To some extent even Sklansky's chapter about the value of deception in TOP can be applied at low limit when you know who you're betting at. (PT can be most helpful in those cases).

Bottom line: Actually all I'd like to stress is the fact you shouldn't believe everything being said in that book. It applies to a few games which I have troubles finding lately. Even 2/4 is full of tight/ rocky players these days, they surely have heard of SSHE either and you must adjust your style more carefully than the book implies.
