My reraise from the blind screams that I have one of those hands in blinking letters. I definitely let him grab the pressure point and put it to good use, but statistically speaking, he's raising preflop, calling a reraise and then calling a pot sized bet on the uber scary flop with AK much more often than QQ JJ or 10. I feel like if he would have showed AK I would have been congratulating myself on my good fold, so if it was a good fold there, it was a good fold here. But if it wasn't a good fold, then if he has AK I should just shrug and say sometimes that's what happens, even though AK is such a huge possibility and I have only one out against it?
Well, you said he was the best player at the table.. He may have had a good read on you as weak against a big bet.

Your bet of $15 on the flop is what strikes me as strange... you had close to the nuts and underbet the pot. He probably read that as an attempt to buy the pot with a weak hand (a king, a draw, or maybe TT or JJ?); and decided to bluff you out. The $15 would've been a great trap bet, except you then folded when the trap worked!

If he had a dominating hand (AA or AK); and he's a good player, why would he go all-in in response to your check on the turn? He had position and no card could hurt him, so if he's stringing you along, he may as well string for one more card and try to entice you into a bet on the river. The all-in on the turn, in position, probably doesn't mean strength.
