i dont think the call is that bad on the turn. you have to assume that the guy has at least pair, so you need to be getting al least 4:1 pot odds. if oyu are not getting 4:1 than folding is probably best.

i usually feel that if someone check aises you and you only have a pair you are probably behind. that is unless the person is some kind of tricky player or something. but with most people, they raise if they have two pair o a pair of aces (kicker doesnt matter, they will raise it, i mean cmon, they are ACES!!! ) i tend to fold to a raise if i have only a pair with no backdoor draws. but as you already know, it is very important who your opposition is.
