I want to get better at getting reads on people. This pertains to both online and live poker play, more for live play actually. When I play online, I can usually target the aggressive, passive, etc and I pay attention to how much they bet depending on position, number of people in pot, etc. Yet when it comes to live play, I have a hell of a time reading people. All of the poker greats say that everyone has a tell and I watch everything and I don't pick up a whole lot. I've read Mike Caro's book of tells and am looking for the indications he describes but I haven't been very successful. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get better at making reads for online or live play? |
