I picked up lots of useful stuff from SSHE, but goddamn it my winnings have been decreasing lately
If anyone has any type of advice (or ridicule) that can help me out of this hole I've dug for myself, I'd be more than happy to take it! Am slowing down on the playing for now, will read a couple of more books, and start digging through my PT stats. Will probably have to post them too, because I don't really know what conclusions to draw like some of you guys do.
(Sorry for the hijack - I still strongly recommend SSHE, I just have to fix whatever I broke by reading it )
No, you need to fix other stuff by reading it more. The concepts will take a few readings to make sense, a few more to sink in, and a few ten-thousand hands to start to see results.
You've probably started calling more on the river, and playing more hands preflop. You can fix this, but it doesn't mean you'll be a bettter player.
