Topic: Which poker book should I get? Forum: Bonus Whores
freakin wrote: Once you're comfortable, I do not think there is a finer book for low limit internet hold'em than Miller's Small Stakes Hold'em. Some of the concepts are rather counter-intuitive, and you will likely go through a period of playing too loose-agressive (maybe dumping too many chips) but you need to adjust your game from a beginner's style of play if you hope to be a decent winning player.
Been there, done that. Well, actually "Am there, doing that"...

I picked up lots of useful stuff from SSHE, but goddamn it my winnings have been decreasing lately

If anyone has any type of advice (or ridicule) that can help me out of this hole I've dug for myself, I'd be more than happy to take it! Am slowing down on the playing for now, will read a couple of more books, and start digging through my PT stats. Will probably have to post them too, because I don't really know what conclusions to draw like some of you guys do.

(Sorry for the hijack - I still strongly recommend SSHE, I just have to fix whatever I broke by reading it )
