Jones' book will keep you from losing money, but it will program a weak/tight philosphy in your head that is fundamentally wrong.
You'll probably find GSIH and Jones' book to be rather elementary if you've been playing for 7 or 8 months, but there is still some solid foundation you need to get down.
Once you're comfortable, I do not think there is a finer book for low limit internet hold'em than Miller's Small Stakes Hold'em. Some of the concepts are rather counter-intuitive, and you will likely go through a period of playing too loose-agressive (maybe dumping too many chips) but you need to adjust your game from a beginner's style of play if you hope to be a decent winning player.
You can order the books from Conjelco (through twoplustwo) with Neteller, which is an added benefit.
