Topic: Which poker book should I get? Forum: Bonus Whores
I just started playing poker in December last year and I still consider myself a newbie. I make profit when I play most of the time (playing premium hands most of the time) but I feel that I make dumb mistakes here and there that take away a fair chunk of my profit. I also don't know how to analyze players and sometimes when I get raised or reraised, I always think that the player doesn't have a certain card but they end up having it (i.e. 10QKspades on flop, I have AsKd, I bet and bet hoping to hit royal on turn or river but opponent ends up having 9sJs :\). Ive never read a book before so which one should I get using PokerStars FPP points?

Oh yeah, I play limit 1/2 up to 5/10..

Winning Low Limit Hold'em by Lee Jones
or
Hold'em for Advanced Players by Sklansky and Malmuth

Don't want to get both because I hear they are different books (in a way) but cover the same material?
