Also, FWIW, I don't play much holdem at all.
You can play more hands than limit and less hands than limit. Limit you can play a lot more A2 hands than you can in PL, and play them further. PL hands for small unit bets(when you think you are safe from a reraise) you can play if they are strong. Id say you can play more QQ and KK hands than limit, but still with position. Where it gets murky is high middle rundowns. Thats shit in limit, and a gamble at PL. So much depends on the table. And GT+
and the # of hands you have on people. You cant outrun the EV of hands......and remember with implied odds come -implied odds. You seem to want to play more hands than you should, and think you can outplay a whole table. Even at places like Party and Prima, you will sit at tables 4 or more winning players. If you think "implied odds" are going to let you play more hands than you should your bankroll will take some hits.
Right, basically more hands preflop and less hands afterwards, I mean I don't play complete crap, I see probably 25% of the flops at this point. The most important thing I've been doing lately is laying down trip aces and nut low much more often than limit. Especially when my hand has nothing else going for it. Also, playing a bit more aggressive with 2pr on a high card flop. AND most important, paying better attention to position and the quality of hands played out of position. |
