I just recently started using the "show my stats" in GT+ (when I got a new computer that can easily handle it), and my current stats at two of my tables (after roughly 50 hands) are:
15% VP$IP, 2% PFR, 20 BB/100
41% VP$IP, 14% PFR, 18 BB/100
So if the players at either table have only this session's stats to go by, pretty much all of them are going to make bad decisions against me (as my "real" stats are pretty much in the middle of these). Have just received extremely varied cards at these tables, and of course that affects my short term stats in a big way.
I usually pretty much disregard stats for people with very few observed hands, but I have to admit - at 50 hands for a player, I would give them at least some credit. However, I mainly trust stats that show "extreme" tendencies. Anyone who raises 80% of the 50 first hands I see is not likely to be a rock, or even moderatly passive... |
