Nicorette87,

If you're talking poker books then I would recommend you read "Internet Texas Holdem: Winning Strategies from an Internet Pro" by Matthew Hilger (ITH). I too first read SSH at the start and didn't have a clue what the hell was going on. I then read "Winning Low-Limit Hold'em" by Lee Jones and that helped a bit but it wasn't until I read ITH that I understood a lot more about limit hold'em (particularly position).

By the way Nicorette87, I hope your not paying for your books. You can get two books for free by going to somewhere like internettexasholdem.com and signing up at one of the participating poker rooms. There are also other places out there that will give you free books, etc, so there should be no need to pay for at least 6-8 books (more than enough to get you going ).

Good Luck.
