i just posted the exact same thread in the off topic forum, never really checked this forum, so didn't realize that others were going or have gone through a downswing like i have. it's gotten to the point where i expect the opponents two or three outers to hit on the river.

i play four tables of NL400 and sometimes NL200. in todays session, I lost three pocket aces in a very short period all in preflop. I double checked my pokertracker to make sure I wasn't imagining it. Last four hands of AA, (-384.65), (-420.00), 9.15, (315.55). in the three losses, two I was up against KK all in preflop, one I was all in after flop against QQ with Q on river.

Those are three $700 - $800 pots where I was a massive favorite to clean up, only i lost ALL THREE. it seems like it's been this way since last november.

i dont really tilt where i start throwing money around, i think i tilt by playing much weaker. it happens cuz i'm always expecting my opponent to hit their miracle card. obviously, i'm losing out on earnings by not playing strong hands aggressively and maximizing. its a vicious cycle.

i actually feel some onset of loneliness and depression creeping up. weird how a cold run can do that to someone. kinda makes me feel better that i have fellow whores to commisserate with, and that i'm not the only one who can really run ice cold.
