What do you mean by head-up display program?
A heads-up display program is something that will show your and your opponents stats overlaying on top of your poker software. So, while you are running Party Poker, for example, a program like Game Time + (which works with poker tracker), takes the stats from Poker Tracker and puts them in a little box next to each person's name.
This makes it very easy to identify who the fish at the table are, and maybe more importantly, who the sharks are. If you have a borderline hand and see that your main opponent is someone who only sees 15% of the flops and is very agressive, then it is much easier to fold if you know that this person likely has you beat. Conversly, you can see who the fish are who will probably call you down to the river with bottom pair on a regular basis.
If you haven't already, go get Poker Tracker (my favorite) and then look for the free download of Game Time. It will easily make you .5BB/100 in almost no time. |
