Another point that is important. And I have seen if first hand. My son played a bit online but now sticks to games with friends or the Indian casinos. All his friends played online and lost money. One was up $1500 and lost it all in one night by moving up to 10-20. Reason, young people don't think strait. They believe they are invincible. They don't have the diciplline that comes with age. This is one of the reasons that you can't gamble in casino's until you are 21. You also don't have enough money to withstand a losing streak and will be more prone to tilting.

Yes, a couple of you will tell me that you have been winning since you were 15. And I believe it. You are the few. For the rest, play low limit until you become a good player. Do not rely on the bonuses to make you money. Long term, learning to play good poker will keep you in the money but there is no guarantee how long bonuses will be around. Play the low limits that you are comfortable with and have fun. And don't quit your job. What stories would you have to tell when you get older if you didn't do the crappy jobs when you were a kid.
