Opinions are generally ok, but what you're saying is similar to someone going to a Catholic board and saying "I think the Pope actually likes to molest children. I don't have any proof for this, except for my intuition, but it's my opinion." Opinions like that are just going to inflame those around you.
You've stated your opinion, been flamed, and those who flamed you were told it wasn't appropriate. However, you've also been told that it's not really appropriate to espouse inflammatory opinions without facts. There's no reason to be defensive here, I don't think anyone has been scarred in this thread, just stepping in to let everyone know what's appropriate, and what's not. |
