Your coach should be able to help you greatly. Unless you just started out with the coach, I wonder if you are getting much value for your money.
You do not specifically mention PokerTracker or a heads-up display. I assume you are using these tools, but if not install them ASAP.
Antgold, you need to understand that some players can't ever learn to beat NL25. (just like others can't beat NL100 or NL1,000) It is possible that you just aren't meant for poker.
However, it seem a bit premature to toss in the towel. You need to look over you hand history and find out where you are losing money and where you are winning. Truth is - your coach should already be doing that. I can learn a lot more about your play studying the hand histories than I can sitting behind you for an hour.
What you should look for are hands that had hard decisions. (big dollars +/- are of secondary importance - you should look at those hands to see if the decisions were hard.) Do not look for 'bad beats'. We all have had aces cracked by kings with the money in preflop <shrug> it happens. Study the 'hard decision' hands. Talk them over with your coach. Post them on message boards. Look for 'hard decisions' that reoccur. Good luck - - this is hard work.
I started out playing NL25 online with my $100 bankroll and was a winner from the first week, but I played live poker for 25 years before that.

PS you didn't mention if you multitabled or not. If you are playing more than one table at once - STOP. Learn to play winning poker first, then learn to play several tables at once |
