When you refer a friend you usually both "split" the sign-up bonus. If your friend would normally receive $50, the site will give you a $30 referral fee and your friend $20 (or something similar). So referring a friend does not stop him from getting his first deposit bonus, but his bonus will be much smaller. Use the BW links anyway and it won't be a problem
