In a B&M you can request to see mucked hands which is why Party, UB, etc. show mucked hands that went to showdown in the history. They don't show hands that were folded prior to showdown. Also you can only view it if you are sitting at the table. If you are observing you cannot see what's mucked.

Personally, I like it. It drives me nuts that IP and TruePoker don't have this. Information is to your advantage. Plus with programs like PokerTracker you can really refine your game and have a lot of info on your opponents.
