Topic: Problem with Bodog Forum: Bonus Whores

I found this interesting. I made my first deposit with Bodog a week ago. I love the tables and have been shadowing Grinder's picks in the sports book. Haven't had a single problem at all until tonight. I log onto the poker site and get a popup when I try to sit at a table. It says that I am playing with "uncleared funds" and to call customer service immediately.

Now I did use the electronic check option when I deposited because of the bonus offer. The money came out of my account last week and I assume it should have cleared with them by now since EFT's normally clear in less than 5 days. So I call up and am told that their software normally takes 7-8 days and on day 7 you are barred from playing on poker tables until they get their clearance. I pointed out that this was pretty dumb since I've been playing for a week with no problems. I understand not being able to cash out until they get acknowledgement that the EFT cleared but to not be able to play? Fucked up if you ask me. The customer service rep said it was in the poker software and there was nothing they could do about it but I could place sports bets if I wanted. He said they would probably have the clearance tomorrow.

Just wanted to let other whores know. If you use electronic check on Bodog you won't be able to play on day 7.
