what we did was sit heads up..one on one..and the guy that sets the games up for me , joey, is the one who seized not only the money in question but the rest of my account as well.
I steal someone's credit card or bank account information. I make a large deposit to a poker site, lose $10k to a bunch of accomplices in a few hours, and then disappear before the card/account is reported stolen and frozen. The poker room has to eat the loss, because there's no way to prove that the people who won the $10k aren't normal people who happened to be playing against the thief.
Chip dumping. This is basically what they're accusing you of (potentially) trying to do.
This is also a common way to launder drug money and what nots. A person "loses" 10K to his partner, and the partner gives back his proceedings later, minus his cut, of course. This is why chip dumping is illegal, since if the money was legit, there are many ways to transfer funds between people. You really have no ground to stand on, since you violated their T&C, which is there to prevent criminal activites. As a rounder, any activities that poker rooms take to legitimize and safegaurd play is a good thing. The only thing that is left to you is to try to convince them that your proceeeds weren't from illegal means.
