I'm not too sure about that. That would take a very large marketing budget and negate the economie of scale that Party gets by having everyone feed into one site.

Traffic is the life blood of any poker site. Traffic=games=regular players=more game... and more games=more rake. No matter how good a niche marking campaign is, it will still focus on a niche, which will mean limited traffic.

It made sense for Party to kill/cripple the skins. Basically Party was leting the skins buy market share at a discount. Party's split makes the skins go out and get marketshare on their own... and to do so without the benefit of leveraging Paty's traffic. This is very smart and very strategic.

On the other hand, putting any mney into Pokernow make no sense for Party... unless they are looking for a write off, trying to sell Pokernow (doubtful) or they have ad contracts that came with Pokernow.
