This software is HORRIBLE.
DO NOT USE.
I've used it to spread 9 tables across my 17" monitor, 1280x1024 resolution.
I found it very hard to see the cards, you do get used to it, but misreading that 4 on the board for a 3 (and thinking I had flopped a set) was a painful beginner mistake. Also the chip values get in the way of your hole cards sometimes meaning it takes longer (not good when 9-tabling). Make sure you use 4 color decks.
My biggest complaint is the crashing, sometimes it'd run smoothly for 2 hours then it'd crash, everything closes, and you have to quickly log back in, load up all the tables, not helped by PP's "welcome back" alert message getting in the f'ing way and slowing it all down. If you're lucky you may have made it back in time to finish your action before being timed out.
The worst one was having it crash and then logging back in, then it crashed instantly again, logged back in, instant crash, it did this 5 times in about 30 seconds and I was sitting out at all my tables before I got back on (and had missed atleast $30 in possible winnings). After that I stopped using it, it'll be great once they stabalize it, but for now it's not worth the $ risk.
BTW the problem is with the software not my computer, others have had it happen to them too. |
