Topic: Unfair gaming at Pacific? Forum: Bonus Whores
I agree that the site can be utterly frustating and I find myself playing more on Stars now. Starting the bonus whoring next month with Party so I suppose Pacific will get used less and less but I certainly wouldn't discourage a newbie from signing up there, it's a good place to learn the basics and how to switch gears while still increasing the bankroll.

Most important from a beginners viewpoint is, imo, Pacifics' history lobby. Replaying every hand from the last session and thinking about what I should have done at that type of table advanced my understanding of the game a great deal. Serious chess players often spend more time analysing a game than it took to play it but many poker players just curse their bad luck and start a new session after losing.

It makes the site a good bet for anyone starting with a br so small they can't afford PT but are prepared to improve by reviewing past hands.

Once experienced and with a br good enough to play anywhere....yeah it's not hard to find somewhere better.
