Topic: KK vs AA on Poker Stars - out of line? Forum: Bonus Whores
DrStrange wrote: If you are on a full 10 seat ring and hold KK, AA will appear 4% of the hands. Out of 100 KK hands, you should see an average of 4 AA hands. 11 AA hands out of 100 KK hands is significant and not easily explained as bad luck.

For what it is worth. I had 21 KK hands on poker stars in my PT database. None of them were vs AA unless the aces folded prior to showdown.

still too small a sample size - just bad luck

he might go the next 200+ times with KK and not run into AA - people over react in the short term - you have to look at the big picture instead of this very small sample size. The 4% you get I would be is over a ton of hands and if he continues to play I would bet eventually if enough hands are played it would slowly get back down close to 4% or whatever that # should be. of course i am tired and rambling so don't listen to me.

And elric is right anyway - always fold KK - then you won't have this problem. However, I prefer to sub in something like 84off - 72 is what you would sub for AA not KK.
